Call centre headsets

Headsets for Call Centres are our primary business and that is all HEADSETS-4-U have been focused on over the last decade. The industry has boomed since and things are getting increasingly competitive with call centres appearing all over South Africa as demand increases. Staff have higher quotas to fulfil in order for companies to remain competitive and the need for reliable headsets with superior clarity to affordability are obvious. Increased clarity levels are essential for researchers especially since given the nature of what they do a person being interviewed on the other end could get most frustrated having to repeat themselves and could just simply hang up.

We have created this document and others to aid call centre managers and owners in making the best choice decisions for their business regarding which headsets to use in their corporate enviroment. From time to time we will be updating this page and it's contents to reflect the very latest and greatest in cutting edge headset technology. Both for the office staff and for the supervisors who over see them. Keeping you in the know as to which headsets could fit each vital role of your call centre is an essential part of maximising your productivity. We have worked through our product range and carefully selected the following headsets based on the greatest ROI (return on investment) levels from research done in some of the most successful call centres we service in the Southern Hemisphere.

Call centre agent headsets

During our ROI research we found two very common complaints made by call centre agents to both there team leaders and intern their supervisors. We have listed these complaints below and address all three problems in one single and cost effective solution known as the Add-Com 800 Performance plus II.

Common agent complaint: Headsets can often be uncomfortable on the upper parts of the ear.

Solution: The Add-Com 800 comes with a choice of an interchangeable leatherette or foam cushion depending on each individual users comfort preference. More to that it has a very thin base which increases it's comfort levels dramatically. It is also suitable for users who may be partially deaf in one ear as it can be worn on either the right or left ear conveniently.

Second agent complaint: We sometimes hear an echo of ourselves or a delay why is this?

Solution: The echo is most often produced by VOIP (Voice over Internet protocol) and is not commonly an actual fault with the headset itself. The only way to get around this reliably is increase your Internet connection speed appropriately. However there are special circumstances where the headset is at fault and with the Add-Com 800 The chance of it being an actual headset issue are minimal by design the Add-Com 800 has voice articulation technology build in that acts almost similarly to counter this slightly. Similar to that of Motorola's Anti Echo technology. However neither are as effective as improving the line speed.

Common manager complaint: Our staff can often mistreat the headsets and because of this we need to replace them more then what we have originally budgeted for.

Solution: To get around this the Add-Com 800 now has a build in reinforced speaker cabinet to minimise damage to the headsets even in cases where people have sat on the headsets nine times out of ten the Add-Com 800 continues to function at it's best levels because of the reinforced speaker cabinet and the flexibility of the boom microphone itself.

Call centre supervisor headsets

Undoubtedly the role of the call centre supervisor would often be one which requires mobility. Cases where supervisors are required to move over to a separate call centre agents computer to help in a query or aid a new trainee are all too common place today. It's easy to understand that a wireless headset would be put to greater use in this type of situation. So without further a do introducing the Plantronics CS60 Wireless headset. The Plantronics CS60 is possibly the best Wireless headset for this scenario based on our consumer research studies it out performs any other wireless headset in docking cradle charge times the CS60 is by far the strongest contender in the industry. It also offers impeccable battery life and wireless range when compared to previous generations of Wireless headsets. Ultimately the CS60 provides any supervisor the ability to roam from terminal to terminal up to 100 meters and still maintain crystal clear sound quality making it a clear cut winner overall in the supervisor headset category.
